This course is for initial certification of an Intoxilyzer 9000 breath alcohol testing operator. The course includes information that the operator will need to properly operate the Intoxilyzer 9000 breath testing instrument. Course content includes scientific instrument theory, instructions for conducting breath alcohol tests and trouble shooting. A laboratory practical will also be utilized to demonstrate an operator’s proficiency in using the Intoxilyzer 9000 on both non-drinking and drinking (impaired) test subjects.
