Gus George LEA provides TCOLE credit for continuing education requirements and mandated training for Basic Peace Officer, Telecommunication and Jailers. The Basic Peace Officer Licensing Course is held every year. The Academy was certified by Texas Commission on Law Enforcement (TCOLE) on May 1, 1985.

Cancellation/Refund Policy
Registration may be cancelled without penalty if prior to 5 days of class start date for a full refund. Please note, any student who no shows will be charged and/or refunded @ 50%. Course cancellations by Gus George Academy will refund 100%.
Our next class Basic Peace Officer Course will begin May 5, 2025.
