Prior to the beginning of the course, Qualification/tryouts will be held on Friday 12/05/2025 at 0800 hours. On 12/05/2025 please report directly to the Rosenberg Police Range, located at 2749 Ave A, Rosenberg Texas (Dead end of Ave A, passed the water treatment facility). Bring your pistol (+100 rounds) and shotgun (+10 Slug & 10 Buckshot). In order to continue the course, you must qualify with 90% or better for each weapon. You will have ONLY 2 attempts for each weapon. ***NOTE: we no longer require you to qualify with a revolver.
On 12/08/2025 you will report to the GGLEA Training Facility. The Classroom portion will be held M/T/W and Range on Th/Fri.

Pistol 700 rounds
12 Guage Shotgun and 25 slug rounds and 25 buckshot rounds
***12/01/2023 at 0800 hours students MUST SHOOT AT 90% WITH THEIR PISTOL AND SHOTGUN ONLY.
