Annual Rifle Qualification – Oct 1, 2026 (2pm-3pm)

If you are Authorized to carry a Patrol Rifle, then you must Qualify once a calendar year. If you meet the requirements, you may register for a time slot for you Annual Rifle Qualification. The Qualifications will be held at the Richmond PD Range, 204 Clay St., Richmond, TX . We are limited to 4 shooters at time, due to the size of the range.

Each qualification session has been divided one hour intervals, which will encompass weapon inspection, registration, qualification, and weapon cleaning. To ensure a seamless process, it is necessary for you to arrive approximately 10 minutes before the start of your session. Arriving late may lead to the rescheduling of your qualification to a different time slot or even a different date, depending on the number of shooters already registered for the subsequent time slot. For instance: if you have registered for the 0800-0900 time slot, you should arrive around 0750 hours and anticipate beginning shooting at approximately 0815.

We will be saving your duty ammo and issuing practice ammunition for the qualification.

Upon Arrival, please make you weapon “safe” at the designated clearing station (We will direct to this location).

*We are limited on ear and eye protection. A good investment to your career and training should include a personal set of ear protection and clear lens safety glasses.
